The Mark Paich Hackathon: a celebration of innovation and creativity

On July 21st, at 9:00 a.m. CDT, the Mark Paich Hackathon will commence. This is a fast-paced, collaborative, problem-solving event. It will require teams to build a system simulation model in 48 hours. Prizes include $3,000 for the winning team and a 1-year free subscription to AnyLogic Professional. Check out the blog post for more details on our great friend Mark Paich and how to enter the competition. Good luck!

Simulation software leaders elect to pass on 2021 Winter Simulation Conference

Simulation software leaders elect to pass on 2021 Winter Simulation Conference

After great deliberation, The AnyLogic Company (AnyLogic) and FlexSim Software Products, Inc. (FlexSim) have decided they will not be attending, exhibiting, or sponsoring at the 2021 Winter Simulation Conference (WSC). The simulation leaders have had ongoing concerns with the organization and direction of recent WSC events. Despite numerous attempts to communicate with conference organizers, AnyLogic and FlexSim did not feel that the organizing committee could reasonably address their concerns.
